I rescued this beautiful girl from an abandoned trailer in a mobile home park in Atlantic Beach, Florida during the summer of 1999. She was only about 1 week old and her mother wasn’t feeding her. So I took her in and nursed her back to health. I decided to name her Perchy because she always wanted to sit on my shoulders to see what I was doing on the computer screen.

Her and I were inseparable for 10 years. She lived with me when I moved up to Wisconsin and back to Florida.

Unfortunately, due to her age and breathing problems, she passed away on April 21st, 2010. She was my “pride and joy”. I will always remember her.
